Hope everyone had a great year and is resting for the holidays.
I finally finalized the gameplay elements, and am now 100% focused on working on the contents.
Most of the game elements are the same from the last update. These are the new changes.
- Removed the 'social credit' and replaced that with 'Weber' faction points
- Removed 'speech' skill as that seemed a bit weird to be able to upgrade your 'speech' in the game's context.
- Added illegal commodities with buying and selling
- Added "Wanted" level for holding illegal commodities.
- Story concept changed from being a 'captain' of a ship to being a regular colony worker. I think this makes more sense given the theme of the story.
I want to add a lot more chapters / content before I do another beta this time, just because this is now mostly story driven with very little gameplay. I'll also have to add a lot of variations to each of the "places" so it doesn't feel as repetitive. More updates to come next time.
